I must say.. these are some beautiful photographs. I really don't have much to say about them except that I love the lighting and the colors. I do wish that I saw some more of the bridge with you zoomed out a bit because you have one that stands alone from your first shoot and all the rest are zoomed in on detail. Other than that, I'm impressed! They look awesome!
ReplyDeletewow. These phtographs are beautiful and colorful. I don't know how to find the this colorful wall. and the angle of photograph also make the photo more beauty. Your photograph is getting better. i can feel.
ReplyDeleteI really really love these! I like how if you blew them up and printed them on paper and canvas a good majority of them would look like funky, kind of abstract pieces. I love the crisp quality to the colors and how the jump off the screen. I can't wait to see more. :)
ReplyDeletei am glad you did close up abstract photos. I am liking this part. it is definately (sp) a different, new take on what has already been done. love your eye for color.
ReplyDeleteI've only been living in the Pensacola area since August 2008, so I haven’t had a chance to go by the Graffiti Bridge yet. I've heard of it though. By looking at your photos it appears that you are doing a good job in showing much of the artistic detail that is embedded in the Graffiti Bridge. The only recommendation that I can make is to possibly take some photos at different angle. The ones close up are terrific, but it’s good to mix up a little bit with some different angles as well.

The colors in your photographs are wonderful! I like the close ups of the graffiti. Keep up the good work!

Again, the colors are spectacular. Digging the close up shots. What else are you going to be able to do with the bridge though?

my vote is to put all of the images together to make your own decor of the bridge. but, that would only be one image and you are making a book.

This is exactly what I was hoping you would do; make art out of what is conceived to be an eyesore. The top photo with the shadows is great. It gives me more to think about. Will you be incorporating large images of the graffiti throughout to bring us back down to reality?

The abstraction is really working! YAY!
ReplyDeleteKeep it up! Take tons of pics!

The color and abstraction are nice. I wish I could make out some of the design/wordage of the graffiti... but maybe I like them better as they are? I'm not sure.
ReplyDeleteInteresting images.. i'm interested to see where you go with this.

These are gorgeous! LOVE the color and the abstract and close up view! They remind me of a photographer named Aaron Siskind who took photos of close ups of city walls, posters, and also graffiti. I can't wait to see more! Keep up the great work!

i am really enjoying the close up shots of the bridge. if you see a penguin, he is mine. i think he is buried under layers by now though.

With the new direction you seem to be going in these new photos I don't think it is necessary to put them all together at the end. The zoomed in pictures that you have taken are much stronger to me than the first one you took. I would just make sure that you angle the camera so it is not focused dead onto the selected portion of the bridge making it look sort of flat like in the grayish toned one. The colors and textures are so great! Keep it up!
